Dr. Prasanna Sakha

My interest is in safer and sustainable management of chemicals. In Chementors, I support my clients with the regulatory requirements of their chemicals to gain market access. In doing so, I manage projects that consider many aspects of chemical safety. Mostly toward providing help with the product compliance within the existing framework of the regulations such as REACH, CLP, BPR etc. Furthermore, the regulations evolve with time, affecting the market access of existing and new products. We monitor this and update, so that our clients receive tailored solutions in a timely manner.

I come from a biological and chemical background, and I have a Doctorate in Physiology and Neuroscience from the University of Helsinki. My previous work experience also includes several roles within the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA). Overall, I have had pleasure working in a diverse project for instance, including topics like early brain development in the wet labs, to the assessment of endocrine disruption in the regulatory context.

Moreover, my experiences in the multicultural environment have helped me provide a profound insight into the clientele collaboration for successful project execution. These experiences have helped me understand and define the regulatory service needs of our clients in Chementors. So that the solution we provide as team here has considered many aspects of project lifecycle and its regulatory compliance, resulting in the market access of client’s products.
