Sibanye-Stillwater’s Keliber lithium project is developing and ramping up sustainable lithium production in Finland, covering the entire value chain from mining to the production of battery-grade lithium hydroxide. The project is the most advanced, fully integrated lithium project in Europe, and it is anticipated to supply the region’s battery industry with a critical raw material needed for electric vehicle production.
It has been granted a Strategic Project status under the EU CRMA (Critical Raw Materials Act).
