As a chemical expert, I formulate safety data sheets, which are an essential part of communicating the hazards associated with chemicals. As a dangerous goods safety advisor, I am responsible for helping to prevent the risks inherent in the carriage of dangerous goods, specifically the risk to people, property and the environment. Most important tools for me are e.g. ECHA’s tools, but also CPNP, KemiDigi, Products register (Sweden) and eBiomeld (Germany).

In free time, especially in the summertime, taking care of the garden takes up some of my time. I like growing vegetables and fruits in our yard, for example, tomatoes, cherries, zucchini, herbs and pears. I enjoy cooking and baking; Mediterranean cuisine is close to my heart. I also walk in nature every day with our Welsh corgi dog.
